New 3DS XL on the Block! Were you able to get your hands on it?

Hey everyone this will be my first blog on here and to start it off I wanted to start it with something that I fell in love with and still can't wait to try more games on it. If you haven't heard by now Nintendo released a new Limited Edition 3DS XL, this would be the first in the states to get a Limited Edition 3DS XL. In the past we had the Legend of Zelda 3DS and the Fire Emblem 3DS but in Japan they have a long list of Limited 3DS from the Club Nintendo 3DS that featured Mario's Overalls, Peach's Dress, and the top of a Toad's Head as designs. They also received a Limited Edition Super Mario 3DS and Animal Crossing 3DS.

Considering this was the first 3DS XL that was Limited Edition to the US, Europe, and Japan it made me wonder why release this one so close to the release to the Mystery Dungeon game when this could of been a great fit during the release of Pokemon X and Y. So the BIG Question "Were you able to get your hands on one?" I was glad to be able to get one early in the morning from Toysrus sadly they refused to give me the Price Match to Target because Toysrus was offering the Gift Card with it so I had to call the main office to fix that because there was nothing in the Weekly Ad and according to their Website if I brought it in store and provided a physical ad I would be able to get the price match.

When it comes to the new 3DS XL I was gun hoe about getting it just because of the saving in price at so many stores but also the deal that Nintendo is providing which is you buy a 3DS XL and either Luigi's Mansion or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (3DS XL Promo) then on top of that if you go went to Toysrus you get the 20$ gift card that you can use at a later date and this week they are offering Buy One Get One 40% on All Video Games (Toys R Us BOGO 40% Off). So you could get the game together for the low cost of around 50$ including Tax and Shipping. You can basically get 3 games for the price of 1 game if you take both deals and combine them in that way.

I was glad I was able to upgrade from my Release Day 3DS to the new Pikachu 3DS and I can't wait to play Pokemon X and Y on it. Thanks for taking the time out to read and hope you enjoy the rest of your day or night! Please follow my Blog on Kotaku and when I get a chance I will post a review when I get Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.
